Our Family Farm Story
Every farm has a beginning.
Harris Family Farm today.
W 1/2 section of 17.25.3 W 2nd in the R.M. of Wallace was purchased in 1905 by John Henry (Harry) Harris for one of his 5 Sons born into a Family of 11 Children.
In 1930 Son William married Florence Acutt and took over the farm.
Operated as a Dairy Farm from mid 40's till 1964.
In 1960 Son Blake Harris married Jean Wiseman and joined and soon took over the Farming Operation.
Operated as a Dairy till 1964, later Hogs, then feeder cattle for years until strictly grain farming in 1997.
In 2012 we received the Century Family Farm Award.
The Farm is now operated by 4th Generation Son Blair Harris.
